General Information

This window contains settings that control which message types are shown in the Message Log and Trade Service Log.

Each option can be set to Yes or No. Setting an option to Yes will make any message related to that category display in the log. Otherwise, if the option is set to No then the message will not be displayed in the log.

This can be used to limit the information that is sent to the logs, as well as being used as a filter in order to help find specific messages related to an issue that may be occurring.

Message Categories (Global Settings >> Message Categories)

Unset

This option controls any message that is not set to another specific message type.

Error

This option controls any message that is set as an error type that also does not fall into any other error related category.

Chartbook Sharing Error

This option controls error messsages that are related to chartbook sharing.

Chartbook Sharing Info

[Link] - [Top]

This option controls informational messages related to chartbook sharing.

NTP Info

[Link] - [Top]

This option controls messages related to the Network Time Protocol (NTP).

Historical Data

This option controls messages related to historical data.

Data Feeds

This option controls messages related to data feeds.

Chat

This option controls messages related to Chat.

External Service

This option controls messages related to external services.

ACSIL

This option controls messages related to ACSIL.

This is not specific to messages created from a custom study. These messages would be in the Unset category.

System

This option controls messages related to the Operating System.

HTTP Communication

This option controls messages related to HTTP Communications.

Network

This option controls messages related to network connectivity.

Chart

This option controls messages related to charts.

SymbolSettings

This option controls messages related to symbol settings.

Trading

This option controls messages related to trading.

File System

This option controls messages related to the file system.

Study

This option controls messages related to studies. This does not include messages that come from custom studies.

Chat Debug

This option controls debug messages for the Chat program.

Graphics

This option controls messages related to graphics.
