I have a chartbook that currently contains 2 charts. When I open it in the main instance, both charts load. When I open it in a subinstance, only 1 of 2 charts load. Is this a known limitation of some kind?

No there is no limitation at all.

See if the charts are listed on the CW menu at the top of the main window. Let us know.

Thanks for the response. No, the second chart does not show up in the CW menu. I have a candlestick chart and a footprint. The footprint does not show up at all unless I open the chartbook in the primary instance.

Keep in mind that each sub-instance is completely separate. So what you see in a chartbook will NOT be reflected in the chartbook in another instance. The only time these items line up is when you first select "File >> New Instance" to create a new instance, at that time the chartbooks are copied from the main instance to the sub-instance, but after that they are completely separate.

So if you added the second chart in the main instance after the sub-instance was first created, then the sub-instance will only have the 1 chart.

You can always copy Chartbooks manually between instances. Just make sure that Sierra Chart is not running at all (no sub-instances, no main instance) and then you can copy the chartbooks using the operating system tools. The sub-instance folder is located under the main Sierra Chart installation folder and is named SierraChartInstance_n where 'n' is the number of the sub-instance (the first sub-instance will be #2 - so SierraChartInstance_2).
