scale out scaling out all contracts in a position but one

was in +8 position and scale out sold 7, leaving 1

it is set to scale out 4 and leave 4

started occurring when i switched both targets from LMT to MIT

scale out functions incorrectly on non-simulated with MIT
scale out functions correctly on simulated with MIT

i cannot find a reason

thank you

How are you sending the orders? Is this a manual order or are you using some kind of automated system? If an automated system, which one are you using?

Can you get us an image of the Attached Orders tab on the Trade Window for this setup?

That configuration is setup for a total quantity of 2. Are you using "Scale In" when you add more orders? Do you have a problem with a quantity of 2 working correctly (do the Targets work properly with just a quantity of 2)?

I dont know if the MIT Targets work properly with a QTY of only 2, I would have to test on live account

We are trying to understand the particular workflow. So you start with a position of 2 and then add on to it 3 more times to have a total quantity of 8, correct?

Then when one of the targets is touched, it should close out a total quantity of 4, but you are seeing a total of 7?
