Hi - My PC seems to have died. I am taking it to a shop and he said he can do a data backup. Is there anything specific that I can do to get all my SierraChart data backed up so that I can launch it when I get a new PC?

The easy answer is to grab the entire folder where you installed your Sierra Chart software. This is typically C:\SierraChart, but it may be different on your system. If you can only get some items, then the 'Data' folder within the Sierra Chart installation folder is the primary item you want. And in particular, the .cht files in that folder which contain your chartbooks. After you have these files, then refer to the following for how to use them on the new system: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
