Good day, Is it possible to have a Delta (from numbers bars - footprint charts - orderflow) overlay reflected on another screen/chart, iow can I overlay Delta on a 1-min candle chart? Many thanks. |

You cannot overlay a Numbers Bars study to another chart. But we are not certain what exactly you are wanting to overlay in terms of the "Delta". Please give us more information on what you are trying to do. For instance, are you wanting the full Numbers Bars information, or just part of it, or even just the full bar delta? Or something else? Hi John, Yes, I want to reflect the Delta (of Numbers Bars) on another chart in order to see when price makes a new swing high (or low), but Delta is negative or when price makes a new swing low, but Delta is positive (divergence). At the bottom of the Numbers Bar chart I have Delta, CVD and Up Down Tick Vol difference. Delta is always green when positive and red when negative. So instead of having to look at 2 screens, it would be good if I can see Delta on my normal 1-min candle trading chart. I hope that makes it more clear. Deon |

It sounds like you are using the "Numbers Bars Calculated Values" study on the Numbers Bars chart. You can add that same study to the 1 minute chart and display the delta in the same way. If you want to display the delta for each bar at the high or low, then hide the "Numbers Bars Calculated Values" study and add the "Study Subgraph Above/Below bar as Text" and display the Delta this way. You can then use the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" to color those values as you want.
