Would you consider to provide the auto-hide function to the Control Bar?

Hello, I'd like to get room as much as possible vertically on charts (please see the attached image) since the indicators grab a big part of it. I think that hiding and showing the Control Bar in a manner similar to the OS menu bar, using the mouse pointer movement, would be very useful. |

I know this is not what you are asking, but for this reason I bought a 42 inch 4k monitor and im running it at 100% Windows scaling, which gives plenty of space. Also you have a grey space on the right, you could make the menus vertical which will also give you extra height for the charts.

If I had physical room for a 42" monitor I have solved my problem, but unfortunately I haven't that. The grey space on the right is for a 4th chart (daily) and have other 3 charts minimized to icon on the same chartbook. |

We can assure you there is 0% chance we would ever be adding any additional automatic hide functionality. We do not need the problems of Microsoft Windows, being blamed on us and having users have run into all kinds of problems, when there are all kinds of malfunctions related to this. It is never going to happen.

User840964 i think you can add keyboad shortcuts to show and hide different panels. While not automatic, it may be close enough

Hi, I work with a single 16" laptop monitor so I had to figure out ways to not waste space. One elegant solution I found is to always use the Window => Detach chart window function, for all my charts. Then Hide the Menu bar and Title bar of each charts. Also hide the horizontal scale and vertical scale if they are not mandatory. Then I hide the Main Sierra Chart window behind my charts, but I just let its Title bar visible at the top of my screen. If I need to access to the main Window, I just clic on its Title bar and it automatically pop-up in front of my charts. (see attached screenshot of the top of my screen) |
