Problem with closing position

If I have 3 different CL positions open, when I want to close the third one opened in a row, the first one that was opened the earliest closes. Why?

it seems you don't know how the exchange works, the exchange works with the FIFO (first in, first out) principle

The order in which a position is closed out really does not matter, as it all works out in the end. But as noted, the exchange uses a FIFO methodology, and, by default, Sierra Chart displays the trades in this method. You can change how the orders are matched using the following setting: Chart Settings: Use Last In First Out Fill Matching (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
