At times I lose track of Study Price Overlays and may remove, or reload a chart that was the source of a Study Price Overlay study. The platform does not like when that happens, and it shows up in performance. But it does not seem to provide any kind of error notification. I don't program, so I have no idea how difficult it might be to do what I'm going to suggest, and if it is, I'm sure you'll tell me. But it would be great if the platform threw some kind of error notification when it has such issues with a study. |

When you close a chart you are queried if you really want to close it. If the chart is referenced by another (such as a Study/Price Overlay) then it will state this in that query. See the attached image that shows this.
