PROBLEM WITH OPEN ORDERS SHOWING ON ACTIVITY LOG and TRADE ORDERS AND POSITIONS

I show an open order in both Trade Orders and Positions window and the Activity Log(showing a running P/L number) for an order I never entered. I confirmed with the trade desk and tech support at AMP that I have no working orders. They told be it must be an issue with SC software. I am running the newest version #1192. Do you know what the problem could be? Ed |

No we do not. If you see an order that you did not enter, your trading service needs to help you with that. Sierra Chart is not going to create orders and list them in the Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Orders tab. Give your trading service, the Service Order ID of the order. I too am having a similar issue, in live not simulated. My end of day run from my FCM/IB for yesterday shows I am flat, yet Sierra Charts in the "Orders and Positions" window shows me to have an open position. I even shut down the program thinking that the nightly update of new information from my FCM/IB would fix it. This is the 2nd time it has happened. Sounds like you are referring to the Trade Stats for Charts tab. You cannot rely upon that Open Quantity data. It has a high probability of being inaccurate.
