Question regarding the Volume at Price study and Draw Volume Profile tool

I would like to use a composite volume profile to analyze a range of data that includes not only a start time and end time but also a high price and low price. I have tried using the "draw volume profile" tool and drag the outline to my desired price levels, which does seem to adjust the outline, but the histogram remains unchanged, so this does not work for me. My goal it look into a range across many days between 2 price points to determine VAH and VAL based on the value area percentage within the tool. Could this functionality be added either as an input variable for high and low price levels or through the adjustment of the outline? Thanks!!! |

There is no support for defining a Volume at Price profile that is limited in the price range. We take all requests, but we cannot say when would get to any particular request. We do not want to completely rule this out, but we would need to have more interest in this, before we would undertake this. We do not want to add unnecessary complications to a study, just for one user.
