I have subscribed to SC realtime data and want to know if I can load more historical intraday tick data for my charts (I'd like to go back to 2008 if possible) I have chart and DTS settings to load 3000 days of data but the data range in the files show: 2011-09-06 to 2014-09-19 (about 3 years of data) My questions: 1. is there any way to go further back for intraday charts? (I have tried "Use Date Range") 2. does the file get updated each day so that the first day is dropped off and a new day added at the end? For example - next month will the data file start from 2011-10-01? Thank you |

1. What symbol do you want to get more data for? 2. No. In general there is at least three years of tick by tick data for major futures contracts. About 90 days of tick data for stocks and indexes. I follow multiple symbols - basically whatever mid/large cap stocks are moving on any given day. (MSFT, AAPL, IBM, etc). Is it possible to get tick data going back to 2008 for specific symbols? If there are only 90 days of tick data for stocks what data is being loaded in my volume by price study that goes back 3 years? |

In the case of stocks, the most amount of historical tick by tick data that we can is promise to make available is 90 days. There is no chance we can offer years worth because it takes too much space. Before that, the data is in 1 minute increments.
