How to download LESS market depth data?

I'm trying to keep a DOM only, lean and mean, Sierra Chart installation with as little data as possible. There are no charts open whatsoever. Only 16 DOMs are up for a multitude of products.

For each DOM:
I go into [Chart Settings->Market Depth->Maximum Market Depth Data Days To Load] and set it to 1.
I go into [Chart Settings->Data Limiting->Days To Load For Intraday Chart Data Type] and set it to 1.

What other factors go into the length of time (days) market depth data is downloaded for? I recently deleted all market depth data, restarted Sierra Chart, and let it re-download what it needed. The market depth folder downloaded 3+ weeks for every product (going back to 16 Jan 2025). I thought it would only be a day or two. The installation folder is now 40+GB in size. This is the opposite of what I want. If I delete the market depth data it will always re-download itself.

Is there any other setting I'm missing? The only study I have on each DOM is the Volume Profile (Volume By Price), and there are no date parameters set within that study so I doubt that has anything to do with it.

Thank you for your time.

Global > Sierra Chart Server Settings > Max Historical Market Depth Days to Download. I personally set it to 1 day. You need to disconnect and reconnect for the setting change to take effect.

Then if you want to download market depth from a specific day to current date, you can set a chart shortcut menu. Global > Customize Chart Shortcut Menu > Download Depth Data from Date-Time. You can add this to the chart shortcut menu so that you can right click from a specific bar index to download market depth. This is the easy way to download market depth if you are missing days.

Also, turn off the downloading of historical market depth data by setting "Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> Support Downloading Historical Market Depth Data" to "No".

And be sure you do not have any symbols setup to record market depth data. This is in the symbol settings and is controlled by the entry for "Record Market Depth Data".
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Thank you both so much. Installation is under 3GB now.
