Hi, I just started noticing that when I add studies to a window and then save it, I can't recall it again.

The window just shows the chart and none of the subchart studies that I saved.

I've used this feature many a time and this has never happened.

The older studies that I have open up in the window but anything I saved today doesn't.

Please help..

The last time you guys suggested I to that, with version 1188, it corrupted all my files and almost destroyed my entire setup..

I'm wary to upgrade anything unless assured that it won't happen again

1188 was a very unusual case. The corruption will not happen again.

Also, it is good practice to keep backups. When you say "almost destroyed my entire set up", it is always important to maintain backups. Sierra Chart does also maintain backups of Chartbooks and that has been increased to 30 days of backups.

Yeah, the Sierra Backup process only works if the user knows that their in a corrupt version.

As I didn't know, I kept opening backed up versions and thus corrupted them all.

Somehow I got distracted before the Tuesday Backup and was able to utilize those..close call as Monday was the only one left.

Anyway, I upgraded and everything seems to be fine.

That being said, I choose New Version/Old Spreadsheet.

I would like to use New for both but when I tried it last week, the spreadsheet somehow became scwss and my sheets didn't look right.

I'm used to scwbf..

What's the difference between scwss & scwbf and is there something I need to do should the scwss appear again.

Thanks,

J.

In your case we recommend using the Old Spreadsheets.
