Using Transact/Sierra charting ESZ4 with continuous contract setting. I have reloaded the charts and also deleted and reloaded several times but getting some inaccurate data. Most noticeable was the reg. trading hr high on 9/4 was showing on my chart at 2002.25 when the high was 2002. I also notice that the poc and value area high and low for the vol by price for the period 8/19 to today is inaccurate by 1-4 ticks each.

Thanks

For 2014-9-4 for the ES September 2014 contract, the High is 2010.

. I also notice that the poc and value area high and low for the vol by price for the period 8/19 to today is inaccurate by 1-4 ticks each.
It is your responsibility to determine the source of the issue. We know nothing about the study settings, what you want, or how you determine it is not accurate. Refer to the settings documentation here for the Volume by Price study to make sure it is configured as you require:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.html#Settings

If the study is configured as require and you believe there is a problem, then it must be with the underlying data. You then need to identify the particular Date-Time in the chart data that is not accurate and explain the particular problem with it.

Did you see what I said? I'm using the continous setting. So the high is adjusted to 2002. My chart is showing 2002.25.

As far as the vbp study the val hi and low setting are at default of 70% and poc is poc.

Also, as stated in first post, using Sierra real time data.

Just because you are using the Continuous Futures Contract feature, does not indicate that the data is back adjusted.

If the issue is a one tick difference with back adjustments, this is not something which we regard as something to look into. It cannot be considered wrong. There is no set standard for back adjustments.

For the documentation about how back adjustments are performed, refer to:

I don't get why this has to be so difficult with you. I have been using Sierra feed pretty much when you started it and it has been flawless. All of a sudden when I download 1187 on Sunday I get problems. Now my charts are showing a low yest of 84.50 when it was 83.25

The issues like you are describing, are not related to a particular version.

We checked on the back adjustment calculations for the ES futures.

With the method that Sierra Chart uses, which is a good method, the back adjusted high for September 4 is 2002.25 as shown in this image:
http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1411066462891.png

So there is nothing wrong with that value.

If there is a problem with the historical daily chart values, then you just need to re-download the data for those days. Refer to help topic 2.2 here:

2.2.2 Refers to historical charts. My incorrect low on 9/17 was on intraday charts. I'll assume you meant 2.1.2 of which I've done with still a bad low.

Yes, refer to the instructions at help topic 2.1.2 for Intraday charts to re-download the data. We have verified just now the data is correct on the servers.

Also make sure you see a [M] after the symbol on the top of the chart to confirm you are using the Sierra Chart data feed.
