While replaying de ES, it often stops at 3.14 pm (end of day session). The strange thing is, it does this often, so not at every end of day session. Sometimes it continues through the night session, but sometimes it does not. Forwarding time a few minutes to give it a sort of 'push' does not help.

pls advice, thank you in advance.

Make sure you are on a current version of Sierra Chart and on the Replay Window enable "Skip Empty Records".

I am currently on v1123, enabled "Skip Empty Records", however, problem still exists: replaying stops at 3.15 pm and never continues. Even after a long wait.

Please advice, thank you.

When you say "long wait". How long are you waiting? More than a minute?

Yes, mostly more than a minute. Could be 10-15 minutes, then continues. Sometimes just seconds but that's rarely really.

I occasionally have the same issue in accurate backtest mode. Restarting fixes it.

Restarting is not relevant. That is only coincidental. There is not going to be anything fixed at all by a restart in regards to replay. There is some other explanation for why you see what you do.

There is a reason for the behavior you see. If there is an inconsistency with what is documented when using the latest versions, then maybe there are out of order timestamps in the chart. If so, that would be logged in the Sierra Chart Message Log.

For complete details about how this works, refer to the documentation here:

So at this point, other than what the documentation says which is accurate according to the current versions of Sierra Chart, we do not know what more to say about what you are experiencing.

There have been some changes with replay about three or four months ago to fix some problems with skipping over empty periods, but we are not aware of any problems now.
