I am using a spreadsheet alert study to display TICK or NISS at swing highs or lows on the main price graph. I have 2 questions. 1. When using display value on low or high in the spreadsheet alert study is there a way to offset the value so is doesn't cover the high or low (offest a tick or two higher/lower)? 2. In the spreadsheet study I have the numbers formatted with 0 decimal places, but when the value is displayed on the price graph it displays with 2 decimals. How do I remove the decimal places in the chart display. Thanks |

+1 to what? If the value of NISS-SP is 27 and I add +1 to that value, how does it change being printed at the high of bar showing the price of ES at 1993?

1. We will look into this. 2. You need to set the Value Format for the Spreadsheet Study: Changing the Price/Value Display Format Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hello Sierra Engineering, Have you come to any conclusion about adjusting the offset for an alert indicator from a spreadsheet alert, per the OPs original inquiry? ******************** I am using a spreadsheet alert study to display TICK or NISS at swing highs or lows on the main price graph. I have 2 questions. 1. When using display value on low or high in the spreadsheet alert study is there a way to offset the value so is doesn't cover the high or low (offest a tick or two higher/lower)? ******************** It would be really great if there was, thank you! |

Actually, the user can only use a spreadsheet formula to offset arrows and other non-zero markers, not the values returned by the formula.... is there a way to offset the value ... a tick or two higher/lower?
You can use the Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar As Text study, referencing the spreadsheet column/subgraph.

#1 - In regards to OP #2 - Is it possible to display two different decimal place signals on same chart. 1a. Column S signals an alert and displays 72.87 (crude oil) 1b. Column T counts numbers of signals and want to display '6' for qty of signals triggered. Currently can only get '6.00' #2 - In 1a example is it possible to include Draw Style Diamond and Text Value on every alert? If I select Diamond and enable Value Label the text only displays latest value and previous text gets removed. #3 - Is vertical displacement of any signals (character or text) possible in Spreadsheet Studies?
