SC, the Bollinger Band study collection that I use now produces a message: This study collection file requires a newer version of Sierra Chart. To update select Help >> Download Current Version or Prerelease. \| 2014-09-14 18:42:13 * I have updated, error message still shows and study does not display. Please Advise.

I foolishly named my study collection "Bollinger Band." By renaming it, the issue was solved.

This issue happens to me also. While loading some older stdycollct files, error message: This study collection file requires a newer version of Sierra Chart. To update select Help >> Download Current Version or Prerelease. However recently created stdycollct files do load OK. Try both 64bit and 32bit program gives the same error. Running program version 2086 64-bit (30839M) Attached are stdycollct files that give error.

We can confirm that those Study Collections are not compatible with newer versions of Sierra Chart. You will need to open those in version 2056 or earlier and save them again and then you can use them in newer versions. Are any of these obtained from the Sierra Chart website? If so, we will make sure they are up-to-date.
