Hello, As shown in the attached file, every time I start Sierra Chart, I need to cancel the data download to access the charts; otherwise, the platform gets stuck. To work around this, I have been using File > Disconnect and then File > Connect to Data Feed manually each day. This process is becoming quite tedious, and I would like to resolve the issue so Sierra Chart functions as it should. For reference, I am subscribed to real-time data, and my current data service is Trading Evaluator. Could you please advise on how to fix this? Thank you. Best regards, |

You need to let the system download all the data which you have requested. If you do not want to wait for all the data to download, then you would need to request less data than you are doing. Right now, you are using a Continuous Futures Contract although we do not know how many days you are trying to download the data for. We recommend not using a Continuous Futures Contract, unless you really need that data, and only load the data you need. Again, do not stop the download, let it finish. The data loading will then be faster the next time as it does not need to get that data any longer. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
