Multiple remote alerts

I need some help on setting up remote alerts. I do have things working but I am confused about having multiple alerts enabled for remote/Telegram. In Settings I choose an alert and then yes for send alert as a chat message. I have nothing for Chat identifier in that section. In the notification section I have the proper chat id. My confusion comes in the "Remote Alerts" section, I have remote alerts set to yes but the "Alert Number For Remote Alert" stays static between any alert numbers that are selected in the "Alert Settings" section.
So is there just one generic alert number that is used for all remote alerts or am I missing something in the instructions.

This setting is unrelated:

It is used for something else.
