hi support, i am trying at the moment a strategy an a flexrenko chart in Spreadsheet System i have set in j73 Buy Entry: Order Type. SL=Stop-Limit (read/write): SL and in j78 Limit or Stop Price - Buy Entry (K) : i have referenced another cell ID11.SG1@3 ([ID11] Renko Bar Predictor). when my buy order gets first triggered in k3 then it puts correct the stoplimit order to the value in j78, but my buy order condition can stay (1) for the next few bars, during that time the value in j78 changes every new bar and i want the stoplimit order to follow that value, but it stays at the value from the first triggered value. how can i make it follow that value in j78? i was thinking it should update itself on a new bar. i have also enabled or disabled: Reset Condition On New Bar, but it didnt make a difference. thx |

Once the Stop order is entered it does not move with changes within the Spreadsheet. To do what you want, you would need to use the "Trade Management by Study" study to move the Stop after it has been created by the Spreadsheet. Refer to the following: Attached Orders: Study Controlled Targets and Stops For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

the stop order is not entered yet. yes,i do use "Trade Management by Study" for my targets and Stop Order once the trade is filled, but in this example here the trade is not entered yet. i was refering to: when entering a trade with a Buy Stop Limit Order as Entry order, the order has not filled yet, shouldnt the BuyStopLimit order move to the value in j78 Limit or Stop Price - Buy Entry (K), as long as the buy conditions stays true? or does it only move once per "buy condition"? my buy order condition can stay true for the next few bars, and i was hoping that during those bars when k3=1 , the Buystoplimit would automatically move to the value in j78, once it gets a new value in, but it doesnt. thx |

It doesn't matter that it has not filled yet. Once you create the order with the Spreadsheet, the Spreadsheet then has no control over that order.

ok i understand. then i guess i need to try to modify Trade Management by Study to be able to move a stop *entry* order, or is there a study like that already available? |
