Hi SC, is there a way to have the range bar to print a new one when a new 30 min period begins? I'm using range bars (2 NQ points) on a chart that also activates a new vbp (ie vol profile) every 30 mins. These vbp (and the associated vwaps) are not displayed until the first new range bar prints in the new 30min period, which you can imagine might not happen for some minutes if the market isn't moving far enough to print the new range. There is not a built-in way to do this. The only option would be to create a custom study that creates custom bars.
