recently built a new machine and simply 'migrated' partitions over from the old one. Sierra has been working fine. However, today, for the first time, I tried re-compiling my code and have run into an issue (see attached). Thanks

You do not have your Visual C++ Path set correctly on the Build Advanced Custom Studies window. It looks like this is blank.

Can you provide me with some guidance? Is there a specific file I am looking for? I'm running Win 11 and I've just installed Visual Studio 2022.

On my Windows 11 system the Visual C++ path is the following: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Community\VC\Auxiliary\Build For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

by re-installing the Visual Studio suite the path you identified was created on my machine. I supplied that path and ran the build process. Still getting an error: "Incorrect path for script file: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Community\VC\Auxiliary\Build\vcvarsall.bat" Is this batch file created during the Sierra installation process? Must I uninstall/reinstall SC to generate it? I'm reluctant to do that as I have so many customizations to my chart display. Thanks again. |

resolved by installing Microsoft Visual Studio Code then configuring it for Microsoft C++. Fortunately, found some very useful links |
