Thanks, this partial solution works. I assigned Send Attached Orders - Position and it works.
#1 will you implement Send Attached Orders - Price under Global Settings >> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts >> Trading Keyboard Shortcuts as well?

#2 what is the purpose of Global Settings>>customize keyboard shortcuts>> Trading order Types Command>> Send Attached orders-position & Send Attached orders-price ?

#3 When are you planning to implement Buy Stop order and Sell Stop order up/down ticks shortcut OR rather Buy/Sell order up/down tick ( regardless of wether it is a buy/sell stop/limit order)?
Thank You!

We will see but the problem is how is the price determined:
#1 will you implement Send Attached Orders - Price under Global Settings >> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts >> Trading Keyboard Shortcuts as well?

These only change the order type on the Trade Window:
#2 what is the purpose of Global Settings>>customize keyboard shortcuts>> Trading order Types Command>> Send Attached orders-position & Send Attached orders-price ?

3. Are you referring to a Stop order that is not an Attached Order? We can add keyboard shortcuts for modifying those orders.

If I may add that I personally didn't think of "Sending Attached Orders by Price" using keyboard shortcuts as an issue as it requires the input of the price at which the attached orders will reference from - sounded like something that requires a point-click-send instead of keyboard shortcuts as by clicking the price gets determined.

Maybe the reference should be the last price, but then the point-click-send will have to change too in order to have the feature consistent between keyboard shortcuts and UI menus.

To Sierra_Chart Engineering,
"We will see but the problem is how is the price determined:
#1 will you implement Send Attached Orders - Price under Global Settings >> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts >> Trading Keyboard Shortcuts as well?"

It can be implemented by using cursor position in the chart area as a reference price ( just like it is implemented with drop down menu right now) OR better yet, using currently traded price as reference price.

#3 yes, for unattached Buy/sell Stop order/limit order.
only 2 keys: a) 1 shortcut to uptick unattached order regardless of Stop or limit order
b) 1 shortcut to downtick unattached order regardless of Stop or limit order
(would probably be best to modify code for Trading Keyboard Shortcuts >> Non-attached Limit Order Tick Up and Trading Keyboard Shortcuts >> Non-attached Limit Order Tick Up to include stop orders as well). This way we would not have to deal with 4 shortcuts in a very fast market discretionary trading.

Thanks a lot for understanding! :)

Placing an Send Attached Orders-Position With NO Position on will put on a trade when either the Target or Stop is hit....
Nope, that doesn't seem to be the case, neither with the point-click-send nor by keyboard shortcuts, no orders get sent/submitted when there is no position on with "Send Attached Orders by Position"

Ok, I think we're talking about different things , when I started this thread a couple of months ago, I was referring to "Send Attached Orders - Position" either from the UI menus (Point - Right Click - Trade - Send Attached Orders by Position), or through the keyboard shortcut, 8th bullet point in the list stated in the below page:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Trading Keyboard Shortcuts for Attached Orders

I think you are referring to sending buy/sell attached orders, that's a different command than the one I've been referring to throughout this thread and had a bug that have been fixed back in October in ver 2699.

We are working on adding these keyboard shortcuts. Two new keyboard shortcuts, for moving the nearest non-attached Stop order up and down.

And also sending attached orders by price using the current pointer position.
