Hello Support. I'm familiar with providing daily/weekly maintenance for NT8...Trying to do the same with Sierra Charts. Are there any steps to follow? Thanks.

What exactly are you wanting to do? We have no insight into whatever this is for NT8.

John, NT is an unstable resource hog, so there are things you need to do to keep it from crashing.
As you know, SC has no such issue.

100% agree. I don't even recall the last time Sierra Charts crashing or freezing on me. Folks who complain are probably the ones running 2 dozen chartbooks and 20+ charts in each chartbook, with large and bloated scid files and very low chart update interval setting lol

After moving to a $700 laptop with NVMe SSD drive in last 2022, I have only rebooted my laptop to apply updates from microsoft and that's about it :- It has been the best investment by far.

The only thing really to be concerned with is the accumulation of trade activity files that can potentially cause a performance issue on some systems and also based upon the current settings of the Trade Activity Log:
Trade Activity Log: Trade Activity Not Displaying or Clearing (Improving Trade Activity Query Performance)

This is usually only a problem for users who are doing a lot of back testing.

And to conserve storage space, on your storage drive, you can delete unnecessary files:
