Hi I tried Replay of Sept.6th Friday and in "Clear Trade Data" selected the option "Clear All Data for Symbol and account". After replaying I stopped Replay. But chart does not come back to my actual chart showing todays date Sept 8th. I closed Sierra and restarted, clicked on my chart which is named " Micro Emini Nasdaq MNQ 600 ticks.cht" but this Replay chart shows up instead of my real chart. I hope, I haven't lost my actual trading chart since somebody helped me to make the chart. Please help me to locate and reload my chart. Further to my above issue, I have a chart copy backed up in Sierra-Backup folder-chart Septeber2,2024. This is my original chart. Can I load it as my chart if need be and how would I copy it to Data folder to replace the existing one? In future, how and where can I keep a copy of my chart in the event my working chart gets corrupted or I do something wrong inadvertently. Thank you |

For that symbol at the time you were working with the charts (which appears to be 10:40:21 on Sunday September 8, 2024), the last trading occurred on Friday evening, so what you are seeing is correct. There is no trading until Sunday evening. There are automatic backups of the Chartbooks to a folder under the Sierra Chart installation folder. Refer to the following for how to use a backup chartbook: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File If you want to keep your own backups in a different folder/drive/system in case of drive failure, then you would need to copy the Chartbook file(s) in the 'Data' folder for your Sierra Chart installation to wherever you want to keep them.
