SC 2671 wine 9.0.0.0 Ubuntu 22.04, kernel 5.15.0-119-generic The Linux sound mixer found in Ubuntu's Settings >> Sound >> Volume Levels allows setting the sound level for individual applications listed there. When SC is playing an alarm sound, it shows up for only a short moment in this application list and then immediately disappears again. So, it is impossible to lower the sound level for SC in the Ubuntu settings. This is not the same behavior compared to other applications. I can think of two reasons why SC shows this behavior: 1. This is some consequence of using wine. 2. When SC is playing a sound, it programmatically opens a sound stream to ALSA and after playing the alarm this sound stream is immediately closed again, instead of keeping it open. Is there any way of having SC NOT disappear from the Ubuntu sound settings window, so that the SC application volume level can be adjusted? |

i experience the same, the way ive worked around this, is i created an alert sound that lasts a long time, like 15-20 seconds, which gave me time to adjust volume global settings->general settings->alerts |
