I have been running Sierra for several months on a desktop PC and have a saved Chartbook on my account. I am preparing to travel for an extended period and have installed Sierra on my laptop PC. The saved Chartbook is not appearing when I log onto to the laptop. How do I access my saved Chartbook on the laptop? FYI I have saved my Sierra folder onto my Dropbox for easy access.

I believe you just need to copy the chartbook file from the Sierra Chart data folder and add it to the one on your laptop.

The statement from "Mark Lewis" is correct. All of your data/information is local to your system. So when you change to another computer, you need to copy the information you need from the other computer. None of this is saved in the "cloud", therefore it does not update to a new computer. Refer to the following for information on copying files from one installation to another: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
