have you got the same problem of somje week ago about the update of the weekly and daily charts? it gives me 'download failed' next there is an example: HD Request # 13 | Downloading Historical Daily chart data for A6U14. Starting date: 2014-08-27. Service: ib | 2014-08-29 01:39:20 HD Request # 13 | Error downloading historical Daily data for A6U14. The futures symbol format is invalid.
