Apparently, it seems that VbP study doesn't allow us to display volume profile that can show the Diagonal Difference in volume between ask and bid. This is creating a lot of challenges for me as I want to keep a track of Diagonal Ask-Bid Net Volume at all price levels. Refer the attached screenshot. VbP allows only Ask Volume - Bid Volume (Delta at Price Level) to be displayed in the VbP study. This is not going to satisfy the need of many. Is there anyway, I can display -733 (Difference between 343-1076 = -733) on the VbP study? It is possible in FP study but not in the VbP. Please advise. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-07-14 22:17:11

The information is displayed as Bid Diagonal Difference Volume | Ask Diagonal Difference Volume format. Can we just display one over the other and not both?

Hi John, I know you've put this in as a request but pls see attached image. The bid x ask diag columns in terms of colour and bar delta size are vary as you work down the levels. I struggle with this as I'm trying to trade this on 1tick but as you pan your eyes up and down you miss a larger delta say +3000 then a +130 is shown at the largest delta. Some delta bars show up green but the delta is negative also the opposite for negative.

hi, i know you're busy but is there any update on diag ask - bid volume colouring. The option to colour the diagonal difference but not the diagonal alone is silly considering you give the option to base the delta profile off diaganol ask - bid.. it's really straining my eyes having to pan up and down the 1tick profile on the dom. I don't have it coloured as there isn't the option.. Please just make an identical delta profile to normal bid ask but just a diagonal ask - bid volume instead with either the upper or lower level representing the diagonal not 2 levels as it gives headaches counting. please John pleaseee.

For the Volume by Price study we have implemented Ask Volume minus Bid Volume diagonal dominant calculations, for the calculation method, the bid and ask coloring, and for the volume display. Some of the functionality is already in the current Pre-Release (v 2907). But there are some items that are not quite complete in that release (such as displaying the Bid Dominant bars). Those items will be fixed in the next Pre-Release (v 2908).

Yes this is out now in version 2908. We are still working on refining the naming, but among the three different Input settings: calculation method, the bid and ask coloring, and for the volume display.
