Thanks in advance.

I am level 5. Is there a way to just show (display)
the current (active) overnight session. I see it around,
but you still are the king.

PS Option for different color volume profiles would be nice as well,
when showing all overnighters. (Not just the one I am asking about)

Unless something has changed, support policy is not to comment on feature requests or provide individual programming support, although they will sometimes. In lieu of superior response from SC Support, I may be able to help in the mean time.

What are you using now to color the background?

I'm not understanding this, can you explain more fully?

Hello vegasfoster,

I do use Time Range Highlight to separate times when I use the Use Evening/Full session. (As shown)http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1409250805260.png

There are other provider that have it to where you can just show the current O/N session. I am only interested where current O/N session is in relation to Pit trading sessions. Not all of the other O/N sessions as well.

Here is an example of some other provider that shows just the last O/N session. https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=SupportBoard&download=3250

You can control the Session Times in the chart to only include the overnight trading session:

Thanks for the reply.

I tried to be as clear as possible. Did you look at the snapshot I proveded?
I only want the current O/N session with the pit session.

You can see it in the snapshot I provided.

I know you can just have the O/N session. All of
them though. I just want the current one with all the
pit sessions.

Why would I want this? Only the current O/N is relevent.
It would save chart space. I want to see the current O/N
against all the pit/day sessions.
Like the one in the snapshot I provided. Lol

I think this is what you want, let me know. You can highlight either the overnight shift or the current day shift. Put the TimeRangeBackgroundV2.dll file in your SierraChart\Data folder and then F6>>Add Custom Study.
