Hi, I find the new Stationary Text tool quite worse than how it used to be: Before I could place the text very precisely (exact distance from X or Y axis), now I can only move it around with the mouse; selected colors (for text & background) and font+size of text do not work at all (or maybe I do not understand how to change them?).

There is not a new Stationary Text tool. The user interface for modifying it has changed. The issues with that are now all resolved.
