for ^HUFEUR[C] and later, NOT same symbol I chose.
I am sending log.

Auto analysis of log says I should fix symbols.
The symbols rejected are not the ones I clicked in my quote board.

Continuing, the symbols rejected in log have nothing to do with those I selected in quote board. ---------
I closed and restarted. Even prior symbols now show overlay of redish box with
"Download Failed." Using SC data. Now log shows
"Not downloading any data. Maximum downlads exceeded for the day. Limit 700."
I have only reached #527 of the 1127 in FX, spread over 2 days, so this is NONSENSE.

Even if daily and intra day charts count as two, not one, I question reaching 700 today.

What will resolve such problems?

Getting the msg log to say what is actually happening could help. It took me over an hour of scrambling to learn that I had reached a data limit, concealed by the fake symbol substitutions.

Restart Sierra Chart. The number of historical data download queries per day has been increased for your account for the next 15 days. We set your account to evaluate package 5.

concealed by the fake symbol substitutions.
We do not understand this. Please explain.

All messages in the Message Log which included symbol are for that specific symbol. There can be a lot of messages in the log if you are tracking a large number of symbols. Most likely you have a misunderstanding of the information in the Message Log. A message for a particular symbol will not be listed in the log at the time that you are later interacting with the symbol but at an earlier time when a chart or quote line was first opened or added.

Accidently lost my message while writing it. View switched to JS or other code.
From memory...

Thanks. I have yet to find info or comparison on the package data limits.

Before the log told me I had exceeded daily limit, it said no data available for symbols I never entered.
This wasted about an hour of my time I could have spent watching TV (if I had TV).

Ok, getting back to charting...

Yesterday I had both daily/1yr and intra charts for
^HUFDKK  Hungarian Forint/Danish Krone
^HUFEUR  Hungarian Forint/Euro FX
^HUFPLN  Hungarian Forint/Polish Zloty
now only the intra.
Newer symbols (Indonesian Rupiah group) fill both charts.

I do not want to blow your system by
"edit>download data for all historical charts".
How might I reload data for just my chosen symobls.

D:\SierraChart\Data\^HUFEUR.dly
D:\SierraChart\Data\^HUFPLN.dly
D:\SierraChart\Data\^IDRCHF.dly
D:\SierraChart\Data\^IDRCHF.scid
are all only 56b instead of Kb to Mb for other files.
Should I just delete those 4??

Deleted those 4 and re charted.
D:\SierraChart\Data\^HUFEUR.dly
D:\SierraChart\Data\^HUFPLN.dly
are now 58B, and those daily charts are empty,
but D:\SierraChart\Data\^HUFARS.dly is 40.4 Kb.
The *.scid are in Mb range.

There is 0% chance we will believe this and this definitely cannot be the case:
it said no data available for symbols I never entered.

The limitations on the number of daily queries is documented on this page:

Edit >> Download Data-Historical Chart. You need to use this for each chart. However, this is unusual to need to do this. The charts are automatically updated and data previously downloaded will not become missing unless it were manually deleted.

Old eyes, I guess. Where on
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartHistoricalData.html
should I see that Pkg 4 limits 700 dl per day, pkg5 = WHAT?

And that should be copied to table on
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Packages.php

"There is 0% chance..."
Again, too bad log does not save to file. It would prove you wrong.
I have yet to reach any "^X" symobls in my study.
But, believe what you like.

When we posted a link to:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartHistoricalData.html#Introduction

We were in the process of updating that page with the historical data requests limitations when using the SC Historical Data service. So you read the page before we had a chance to upload the new page.

This is what we added:

If you are not using the Sierra Chart Real-time and historical Exchange Data Feed, the limitation for the number of historical data requests per day based on service package are as follows. Trial accounts: 200, Package 1, 2: 0 , Package 3: 800, Package 5: 1600.

Useful, thanks. But Pkg 3 said I exceeded 700, not 800, on fewer than 400 symbols. This seems possible only if you treat the daily and intra as TWO downloads. That is, as two separate data sources.

We increased the limit to 800.

And a request for daily and Intraday data will be two separate requests.
