using the Click & Release method of moving orders around on the chart, is there a way to cancel it after you've clicked it but have not let go yet? this can happen, where you accidentally click it or even decide against it. I know I can turn it off but I much prefer click and release to click and drag. I have accidentally clicked it once and then didn't know how to get out of and moved the order around and it closed my order (which I didn't want to do) Could you implement ESC to cancel? |

No, there is not a way to do this. But what you can do, is enable order modification confirmations and then you can press No to cancel the modification: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Menu >> Order Confirmations (chart specific) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. It can be done by not letting go of the left mouse button and then clicking the right mouse button. This is a standard Windows cancel option and not specific to Sierra Chart.
