Howdy, I have a simple alert example which performs the way it is supposed to for bars that are going down, but the exact same formula misses the first bar and puts in an incorrect last bar when the bars are going up. Please let me know if you need any more information. I have tried many different variations to make it display correctly with no luck. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-08-16 11:33:37

The Up triangle study has the Displacement set to 1.

Thank you very much, Tom, for your fast response. I looked at this dozens of times and did not see that; I thought displacement was for haveing the triangle display at the top of the bar; now, I see the "input" field determines that. But, how can I get the down triangle to display at the bottom of the bar; I used "last" for the up triangle, but none of them (last, open, high, low) put the triangle at the bottom of the bar. Is there a way to do that? Thanks again fro you assistance, Tom. |

For Down triangles: set Input Data to Low set Draw Style Percentage Offset to -50 For Up triangles: set Input Data to High set Draw Style Percentage Offset to 50 Note: this draw style measures from the center of the triangle, not the point of the triangle.
