Hello Sierra Team,

I have a question about the Cummulative Last Size Same Price and Background
Color.

My Problem is when i enable the Cummulative Last Size Bid/Ask Trade Same
Price and Background Color and set it to the color white Background,

every contract, regardless of whether it trades at the same price or at the
new price, is shown to me is in white all the time in the background.

My understanding is that if 1 contract is bought at a price of 100, then
there is blue text and when the uptick comes and the bid is on the price 100
and is immediately sold in the same millisecond at a price of 100 back,
which the eye cannot see because it happens so quickly, then the text is red
and the background then should be white.

I looked everywhere at the support tickets and unfortunately nothing worked.

Can you please help me ?

We are a bit confused by the images you provided.

The image of the "Trade DOM Cumulative Last Size Bid Trade Same Price and Side Background Color" is showing as grey in the image, not white.

Also, we would need to know what the setting for "Trade DOM Cumulative Last Size Background Bid Trade" is set to. These two items would need to be different colors in order to see the initial Bid at the price and then have it change to another color if the next trade is the same side and price.

Thanks for your answer,

Trade Dom Background Color is set to gray as shown in the 3rd picture from my last question "Trade DOM Background color" its the same like my background color.

The "Trade DOM Cumulative Last Size Bid Trade and Ask Trade Same Price and Side Background Color" are both set to white.
The "Trade DOM Cumulative Last Size Background Bid and Ask Trade" are both set to gray.
but it doesnt work.

I have tested it with another color because my DOM Background is also gray.

I have tried to change the "Trade DOM Cumulative Last Size Background Bid ans Ask Trade" to yellow and always the Market is traded to another new price it shows me a milisecond the yellow color almost invisible to the eye and immediately changes to white although not a single new contract was added. 1 contract on offer on new price, 1 milisecond yellow background color and then it goes to white and there is still 1 buy contract.

And when a uptick happens and the bid becomes the newer price and immediately on the same price there are 1 contract to sell it shows me again a milisecond the yeloow background and then goes to white without a single new contract.

For me I understand that The "Trade DOM Cumulative Last Size Bid Trade and Ask Trade Same Price and Side Background Color" when it is on white background color there should be 1 contract to buy it shows a yellow background and its should stay yellow and when another buy contract comes it should only then be white and when the upticks comes and immediately there are 1 contract to sell on the same price there should be white again and not a milisecond yellow.

There are two problems it doesnt work.

I hope you can now understand me

Thank you very much

Best regards

We were not able to tell the color was white from the images, it looked the same as the page background, which is typically a gray color.

What you need to keep in mind is that the DOM is only showing you instances in time, and that time is dependent on your "Chart Update Interval".

There are some things we can look into related to this, but it will take some time.

On the Picture "Same Price.png" there is the white background color.

My Chart Update Interval is set to 10 miliseconds. When it goes up to maybe to 8000 miliseconds then it shows me a gray background color how i like and after a while it goes to white. On a fast market it shows the right thing. But it should be independent from the time. When the Market is slow after the 8000 miliseconds it goes to white again without any other new contract.
And the Problem is the higher the time interval is, the slower the market datafeed is. You can't trade like this if you receive the data with a delay and also the problem is when a uptick comes and the bid gets the new price and immediately there is 1 contract to sell it shows again the gray background color. It should be white because of the same price. Can you solve the problem on a new update please?

It should be like the Jigsaw DOM. There are a option called "show current trades" on the settings "depht and sales settings" then "appearance" and then there is the "show current trades" where you have to make a catch. That shown on a volumeprofile on Jigsaw but it would be nice that same seetings on the cummulative last size trade would be. Maybe someone has access to jigsaw trading an can test this. It would be great.

I am sorry for the circumstances.

Thank you very much

I think I understand what is requested here, and it seems to be similar to other posts regarding this topic : when there is an uptick, it would show up as green and stay green until a new order happens at the same price ; when there is a downtick, it would show up as red and stay red until a new order happens at the same price; and if the trades happen at the same price (doesn't matter if bid trades and asks trades are mixed) it would show up as white, like many are used to based on XTrader original settings. The way it is now, is that it flashes red or green and instantly switches to white after a few miliseconds even without another trade
