Hi guys, I just updated today in the morning and no SIM PNL was showing for me when I enter with a market order. can not open a sim trade

We need more information on what exactly is occurring.

If you are not able to open a trade, what is occurring? Are you getting an error message? You should look in the "Trade >> Trade Service Log" to see what it shows in terms of possible errors. You can copy and paste the contents of that log to this thread.

If you are able to open a trade but are not seeing any Net P/L then where are you trying to view this and what do you see?

so as I saif it has 100% to do with the update, bc on my sierra 2 there is no issue at all. Whenever I open a market sim position it just wont open it. So I have no open PNL in the trade order window. If I try to flatten it I get the following log... Please see screenshot. Please tell me if you need further information for this bug/problem...

On the title bar of the Trade >> Trade Activity Log, what number do you see after QC?


Also clear the trading activity for the Symbol and Trade Account that you are doing simulated trading with:

Guys I cant even execute on my private account. Please see screenshot. I cant be the only one, as I said, got this problem since the update. How can I downgrade again?

What exactly are you doing and what exactly is happening? The screenshot does not communicate any problem, regarding this.

But what we do see from the screenshot, is that you do not have the right symbol selected on the Trade Activity Log. Select a specific symbol. Refer to:

I am just pressing BUY MKT in the trade window. Neither on sim nor my private amp account does this work. There is not trade logged. In the screenshot you see that the Mkt Order is just hanging there on "held" there is no execution.

Regarding the Trade Activity Log we want you to update to the current version of Sierra Chart. Instructions:
Software Download: Fast Update

This is very important. And reselect the Symbol in the Trade Activity Log settings window to be one of the symbols in the list.

The problem with the Held order, must relate to the time in force. You must have changed that.

Set that to Day or Good Till Canceled:

Thank you! Indeed it was jsut Time in Force that was causing the issue.
