I use the volume at price study, along with the Footprint, to identify imbalances at specific price levels. How can I incorporate a minimum delta threshold into the signal?

There is not a way to have multiple conditions within a single "Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2" study.

The best option we can think of (without coding a custom study) is to use a second "Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2" set to the Delta value you want and then use the "Spreadsheet Study" to compare the two results for each bar and find the overlapping price points.

Refer to the following:

If you prefer the Custom Study option, then refer to the following:

I was able to get the posite delta using a second "Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2"as per your advice with the method Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference. For the negative delta I have issues, do I use the same method or what am I missing?

We are not sure of exactly what the issue is.

But, if you are referring to how to set a threshold to cover the situation where the Bid is greater than the Ask by a certain amount, you just need to enter a negative threshold value.

For instance, if you want to view when the Bid is greater than the Ask by 20, then you would enter a value of -20 in the Volume Threshold.

You would need yet another copy of the Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2 to cover both situations (positive delta and negative delta).

The entry for "Percentage Threshold" only applies when the "Comparison Method" is set to "Ask Volume Bid Volume Ratio".

If it is set to "Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference", then you need to enter -200 in the "Volume Threshold".
