I need to get alerts to my phone

The only option we have for this is to use Telegram. This is done by connecting alerts to our Chat program and then having those forwarded to Telegram. Refer to the following:
Chat and Communications Platform

And i need help making the alert trigger as well

We would need information on what you are trying to do.

I would like to make an alert trigger a text message when my emas cross. Tangent: my replay doesnt seem to be working, does this possibly require a more advanced service package or data from rithmic?

We no longer support Text Messages for alerts. The only option is Telegram as we noted above.

You should not have any issues running a replay for the data in your chart. The replay does not have any dependency on your package. What exactly is occurring when you are trying to replay?

Telegram is fine. I've tried looking through the other support threads and going through the provided links, but still couldnt figure out how to get the alert to trigger when specific emas are very near each other. I see on the Moving Average - Exponential study, it has an alert section.

JabbALot - In either one of the two EMA studies, put this formula inside the Alert Tab box

ABS(ID2.SG1-ID3.SG1) <=3

ID2 and ID3 are the two EMA studies. 3 is the minimum distance in points between the two EMAs that would trigger the alert

The number 3 would have to be changed to an appropriate value.

Nothing happens when i click it.

ABS(ID2.SG1-ID3.SG1) <=3

I will give this a try! much appreciated. Will report back!

Updated....
ok, i see the study turn yellow on the top with an exclamation point. Seems to be working, although i dont hear the sound, which isnt necessary anyways. Next step would be to get the telegram msg to trigger with the alert

thank y'all a bunch!

6. The group will be created and listed in the list of chats on the left of the Chat Window. At this point, only you are the member and it is your own private chat. Whatever messages you send, are seen by no one else but yourself.

This did not happen, shown in screenshot. I clicked new group and selected telegram to yes and hit apply all and then ok, and tried not clikcing apply all and then ok, and still nothing appeared in the "list of chats on the left of the Chat Window."

What exactly is occurring when you are trying to replay?

The other photo is on me clicking the replay control panel button and nothing happens afterward, i just installed the latest version of sierra chart as well

Make sure the Group Name is at least 5 characters long. Anything shorter is not accepted.

Ah yes lol, that did the trick! Thank you.

I followed all the other directions and set my alert to trigger, and you can see in the screenshot, for the window chat, it says message sent, BUT, I didn't receive a telegram message. Why do you think this could be. I communicated with the sierrachatbot via telegram and it is connected.

It replied
"Your Sierra Chart chat username is attached successfully."

For the Group Chat that you setup, select that name and then select "Commands >> Edit Chat". On the window that comes up, make sure the options for "Relay to Telegram" and "Relay Own Messages to Telegram" are both set to "Yes".
