Dear SC, I have created several Config Templates for Support/Resistance lines and Rectangles. I normally add labels to the upper right of each line and rectangle. However, when I select a Configured Template and have checked to use the Config Label as the text it does not display the Config Label on the drawing. It appears as though the first two Config Templates I created work properly and display the correct color and text when I select either one. Then lately if I select Modify Text to manually add text, it does not add the text. Now, after trying to add my new Config Template that is blank, I right clicked on the rectangle and selected Chart Drawing Properties and loaded one of my older Config Templates (Major Support, image attached) and it added my new label for my new Config Template. However, if I right click on the rectangle and select Configuration (Major Support) it displays the correct text. This used to work better for me, although it never was easy. I should be able to create drawings with labels and turn them into templates to make life easier. I waste so much time with this software not working properly. It is truly maddening. Can you please look into this? And, if this does not work, I should be able to manually add text, which does not seem to work any longer. Thanks for the help. Tom |

I'll check that. I figured out the issue though. If you look at the new attachment. If I right click on the rectangle and go into Chart Drawing Properties, then at the top, have an Outline that has color, not white that I had before, then it displays my text, either the Config Label Text or my manually written text. So, if you can fix that. I shouldn't be required to have a colored border in order for my text label to display. Thanks for the help. Tom

There is nothing new about the outline color being used for the Text color. This is how it has always worked.
