Hell Support Team. I would like to know how to create & highlight sub periods of time blocks on the TPO during the day session on the ES. I would like each of these letters for these time ranges to be a specific separate colors from the other time periods. I want the chart to highlight several time blocks during the day, for about 20 minutes for each time block. Set for west coast time zone. I have tried a 30 minute TPO chart, with no success. What time frame TPO is necessary to see this? -------------------------------------------------------------- Is it necessary to use the example on the documentation the get the correct START & END Times? That the end time must be one second less than the period time? For a sub period time length of 15 minutes: The sub period duration is 14:59 For the first period East Coast time START TIME 08:30:00 END TIME 08:44:59 Example letters for a default letter configuration for chart with a Session Start Time of 08:30:00 and a subperiod time length of 30 minutes: 08:30:00 - 08:59:59 -> A 09:00:00 - 09:29:59 -> B 09:30:00 - 09:59:59 -> C 10:00:00 - 10:29:59 -> D I set the number of custom Intraday sessions to 2 , put in a Begin Time of 7:00 and End time of 7:30 . It will not accept the End time entered and reverts back to 23:59:59 This and the documentation for Use Custom Sub Periods 1 and 2 , are confusing , could you please help clarify both of thsese? ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Session# (1-5) End Time should also be set according to the number set here. We are not fully understanding what you want to do in terms of the coloring. We do not think an option exists for exactly what you are wanting, but you can color the time periods within a TPO for each actual sub-period. To do this for 20 minute periods, you would set the following for 1 day profiles: - TPO Letter/Block Time Period Length: 20 - TPO Letter/Block Time Period Length Unit: Minutes - TPO Letter/Block Colors: Use Letter/Block Color 1-18 Set the colors as you want for the colors in "Letter/Block Color 1" through "Letter/Block Color 18". -- With regards to how to setup sub-periods, you do have to specify the end time as 1 second less than where the next period would start. And keep in mind that these need to be increments of the "TPO Letter/Block Time Period Length". This does give you the proper amount of time, as it gets all trades within that time period. For example, to have a time period between 07:00:00 and 07:30:00 you would enter the following: - 07:00:00 - 07:29:59 This then captures all the trades that start at 07:00:00 and end just before 07:30:00. John , I will try and use those settings and see what I can get.... Here is one that more or less works , highlighting the first TPO, It is a hack. Mostly want to be able to have different colors for each complete sub session or at least its start time. Thanks !!
