The manually created text file displays the chart fine. Then when I add data to it via "edit data - historical chart", how do I update the chart?

The file is updated and saved, but the chart will not update. I tried chart>> reload and recalculate, but it will not update. It is Daily data, the Date format I am using is mm/dd/yy. I could not save the yyyy/mm/dd format from Excel in a .txt file. Kindly advise.

If you are editing a Historical Daily data file through Edit >> Edit Data-Historical Chart, once you close the editor window, the chart will automatically reload.

If you do not see the new data, there must be something wrong with the formatting of the data. Refer to this page:

Thanks for your reply. I believe the formatting is correct. I add data to the end of the file through the Edit>> Edit Data-Historical Chart, then I save the file, but the new date is not shown updated into the Date Range File, so I can never add more data to the end of the file?

If it is the proper format it should be automatically loaded, and if not there still must be something wrong with the format in some way that is not obvious.
