Will this flatten my trade and account after hitting $525 in profit for the day? And $526 in the Trigger to flatten positions? Yes I still have to set the start of day time. I will set it for NYSE open. I still dont understand how the Profit Value After Trigger To Flatten Positions works. It makes no sense. Why does it even exist? Why cant it just be the check box and value that when it hits a certain price it just flattens the account??? SOOOOO easy. It seems you not only have to turn this on with the Flatten Positions When Profit Rules Met box but ALSO UNCHECK the Disable Global Profit Loss Manag. on Startup box??? roflol.. a button to turn it on and then one to turn it off on startup? i cant stop laughing.. laser guided hammer to pound in a nail.. Hopefully the picture attaches as its a menu window and you cant copy those easily. |

The "Daily Net Profit Management" is meant to be like a Stop-Loss. Once you hit the trigger, then the "Profit Value after Trigger to Flatten Positions" is the value at which you want to flatten if your profit goes BELOW that value. If you just want to flatten the positions when you hit a certain profit level, then enter that level in the "Profit Trigger Value" and then enter a large value in the "Profit Value after Trigger to Flatten Positions", something about 2x the trigger value is what is recommended. For reference, from the documentation for these items: If you want the Trade Positions to be flattened when the Daily Net Profit Management >> Profit Trigger Value is triggered, then set the Profit Value After Trigger To Flatten Positions to at least twice greater than the Profit Trigger Value.

Because if you make it 1 more then if the price jumps such that you are now $2.00 in profit, then the flatten will not trigger. 2x the trigger value ensures that you have enough space to take into account price jumps and have your account flattened properly.
