chart date range wont work

when i want to use chart date range , if i put ranges like within 60 days it would work , but when i want to see dates from 2017-01-01 to 2017-01-10 or even 2021-01-01 to 2021-01-05 , it wont work , the screen of chart goes black , and the numbers on the status bar keeps getting bigger and bigger , but even after an hour it wont work .
