For a long time I've been placing vertical lines on my charts to give me an indication of when important figures are released. For example, if the time is 8am in London and I'm on the 1m chart I might place a vertical line at 1.25pm to remind me of a 1.30pm figure. This all worked great until the latest update to the Vertical Line 'Chart Drawing Properties'. All I used to do was place a vertical line on the chart, go to Chart Drawing Properties and then simply change the time from say 08:21:00 to 13:25:00. Worked a treat. But now with the new chart drawing properties box, it's impossible (I believe) to change the time. Under Anchors it doesn't allow the time to be change and instead offers the ability to move the line BACK in time. For example, if someone placed a vertical line on their chart today, why would they want the ability to change that date to the 3rd November 2023 which is what is offered under 'Anchors'. Why would someone want this option as it doesn't make much sense? Any ideas, thanks. |
