I've been trying to download historical forex data for a bunch of pairs including EUR.USD and GBP.USD. I've tried unticking "Allow support for ..." and "Support Alternate ..." ticking the first but not the second ticking both Selecting the symbol from the Find Symbol option then Historical Charts Selecting the symbol by creating a properly named file AUD.USD-CASH-IDEALPRO.dly (say) and opening it All options result in zilch. I have TWS open and am able to strip a few hours of an intraday chart and get a download. But nothing daily. I even tried Port 80. I can download IB intraday and your FXCM forex daily. But not from the SC Historical (similar messages to above). All I really want though is to get the IB version of the data and that seems broken. |

We are going to be releasing a version now to solve the problem with the routing of the historical Daily data request. When using the standard IB symbol it needs to be routed to IB. Kiwi Hi Which version of Wine you are using? is it 1.6? Try 1.4 (crossover 11.3) or 1.7 (crossover 13.2) FYI: crossover works a bit better in some cases |

Thanks. Confirming that 1169 works perfectly with IB Historical Data. 1. Create empty file in format EUR.USD-CASH-IDEALPRO.dly 2. Open it .. fills. or 1. Open Historical Chart and enter name EUR.JPY-CASH-IDEALPRO.dly The wine problem is just a wine problem (small price for being free of Windows). Thanks for fixing this so quickly. |
