Hi, I only noticed today that there is a non-CLR version of SierraChart which doesn't use .NET and is recommended to new users. I don't use spreadsheet studies. Can I update to the non-CLR version without problems? Is there anything I need to reconfigure in SC's settings if I do so?

If you are not using Spreadsheets you can definitely use the non-CLR version without any issues and that is recommended.

Nothing to reconfigure.

MacOS users have two alternatives: CrossOver (with non-CLR) light, cheap and fast or Parallels (and Windows) but it is heavy and expensive (two licenses). When is the estimated release date for the SpreadSheet study in the non-CLR version? (translated)

There is no "Download Latest Non-.NET Version" in my Help Menu. How else can I download this?

When you say Crossover(with non-CLR) light, can I not use the CLR(spreadsheet) version of SC with Crossover? Also, Crossover light is Crossover One, the cheapest option, correct?

Thanks

This thread is from the year 2014. It is nearly 7 years old! It has no relevancy whatsoever.

Sierra Chart no longer uses CLR.
