... additional Parameter request.
99% = I am expanding contracting the Bars, to get better overview; Instantly! (but having to touch the keyboard's shift key, every time)
1% = having a need for moving chart left to right with scroll wheel.

Can you please add additional Parameter (tick-box) in Global Settings, [ie.] Bar Spacing - use scroll wheel without holding Shift

I agree this would be very good.

I'd prefer non-shift to do spacing / shift+scroll to do time shifting.

Actually; many times I find myself staring at a chart wondering why the market is so sedate... then I see a little red box in the lower right corner and realise why!!!

Keyboard 'Page Up' and 'Page Down' increase and decrease bar spacing by an increment of five. Very quick and accurate as you can easily return to your original bar spacing.

all well and good, but Idea is "not having to touch keyboard at all" (far too busy monitoring my six large monitors)

SC Support ... has this now been implemented?
If yes, where are the relevant parameters located?
If not, please indicate as to which next release it will be part of?

as a wise man once said "He who screams the most, will more likely get it done; as opposed to someone who barely puts up his hand"

12 months later --- Come on Engineers, such a simple thing to implement this request, it's called management (nothing more and nothing less) ... will somebody please make an executive decision and put this request on TOP of your list, for heaven's sakes?
SC had some 100 release versions since this request with 'god knows' how many low-level changes/improvements with far less insignificance than this.

"He who scream the most" ... I am happy to send to SC-Engineers a daily reminder email about this request ... if you like; in order to finally get it implemented.

can you please elaborate in detail and what settings do you have to achieve this (in case you wonder, I am a very experienced chart trader for over 15 years having used all mayor charting packages available and understand SC very well).
You say you are using it, then what setting parameters do you have set differently, as SC with normal settings (and no other input), the (mouse's) scroll-wheel only scrolls bars left-right but does not expand-contract (spacing) the bars?

Will Check tomorrow in Office. Hope I Talk about Same as you, but think so. I zoom in and out of chart with wheel. Thats what you mean, dont you?

for instance, when viewing a 2 minute chart (11am-4pm) and scrolling the mouse wheel, all the bars move left or right (seeing 10am-3pm or 1pm-6pm), always the same spacing. And when holding the Shift key while scrolling the mouse wheel, you will see perhaps 13pm-14pm or 6am-23pm; yes also referred to as zooming. What is requested here (and what the SC Engineers have promised to implement) is (an on/off-parameter in the settings) for not having to use any other input (not touch keyboard) while for the scroll wheel to act as a zoom.

This feature was added 2013-12-10 which is the date of the posting above where we said "we will work on this".

The setting which controls this is in Global Settings >> General Settings >> General 2.

In post #1 you said:

So we assumed that when we said this will be worked on, you would know where to look. Clearly you have not looked there since.

Previously in Global Settings >> General Settings >> General 2, there was an option to enable and disable scroll wheel support for scrolling the chart.

When you requested this other option, we thought you were aware of this first existing option since it sounded like you wanted another option added beside it.

We do apologize for not letting you know at the time we completed this, and in what release that it will be out in. We normally do.

We really just figured that you would have seen it since you were looking for a specific scroll wheel option beside the other scroll wheel option we thought you were already aware of.

Thank You, you have no idea how much simpler 'this little feature' now makes navigating the Charts (like the difference between Auto & Manual in a car). Thx
