Resolved - Volume Profile Resolution on Daily Bars

How do you get better resolution with volume profile on a daily chart? The profile seems to be showing all the prices with the same volume for each individual day. I am using SC Exchange Data My settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit set to 1 Tick Max Historical Intraday Days to Download : 500 (for both options) I have tried several different settings in the studies setting dialog with no success. As an example I selected a single day with the DRAW VOLUME PROFILE tool - here is the screen shot: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1406426474826.png Thank you |

OK - I see that by setting the chart to INTRADAY CHART (instead of HISTORICAL) and using a Bar period of 1-0-0 gives better resolution of Volume Profile on daily bars. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-07-27 19:20:07
