no position showing in trading DOM

I upgraded to 1162 Non-CLR, thinking that the new version might be required to fix the equities feed problem. Working in a futures trading DOM, there is now no position showing. It does not change when I buy or sell. The orders and positions are showing correctly in the Orders and Positions window. It does not help to refresh from IB. It used to work before the update. |

Restarting the program also did not help. The symbol in the Orders and Positions window is SI-201409-NYMEX. The symbol in the Trading DOM is SI-201409-NYMEX-USD-5000. |

No, the new version is not necessary to solve the US equities feed issue earlier. This was only on our server. We have done a test now and we see the correct Position on the Trade Window and on the Positions tab of the Trade Orders and Positions window after making a trade. We will do further testing with IB. It is not happening with equity symbols. If I go to a trading dom that is working correctly with an equity position and then use chart settings to put in a future symbol, then the actual position does not appear. If I then go back to any equity that has a position, the position does show. Again, all positions and orders are showing perfectly in the Orders and Positions window. Does the Install Previous Version button do anything? I tried it, thinking that I would see if the problem still exists in the previous version, but nothing happens. Perhaps it only works for the CLR version. I can go back to 1155 by hand if it would be useful for your diagnostics. |

We have not yet tested this. We will test and resolve the problem. No need to go back to a prior version. We expect to identify and resolve the problem in a couple of hours. Does the Install Previous Version button do anything? This takes you to the documentation with instructions to install a previous version.

I tried this and downloaded the pre-release version and the problem is unchanged for me. I enter an order in the DOM (same settings as before; DOM set to the IB account etc.) and it shows the order, but when filled the position disappears from the DOM after approx. 3 seconds. The position does show in the positions window. Note I am using sierrachart.exe the 32bit version. Is there a prior version I can download with the download tool to roll back to? |

I downgraded SC to 1986 and works as before DOM showing position etc.
