We cannot imagine that it will not go on more than another hour or two. We are going to make very sure they fix it soon. Certainly by tomorrow.

I had a serious timestamp issue last year with IQ Feed while trading AAPL that rendered trading impossible. It lasted several days and IQ actually had to release a new version to correct the issue. The point being, these things do happen with very reputable and trusted data services.

I followed the instructions and disconnected and re-connected without the Sierra chart feed. I was then able to monitor the FDAX. However, now I re-connect to the Sierra chart feed I see a gap that was not there on my broker feed. There is also a difference in the high of the day of around 5 points. I have used the "delete all data and download" option. The Sierra chart feed does not look right - is there still an issue?

For ICE and EUREX there is missing historical Intraday data that we need to still fill in.

Right, there is no missing data for CME. The CME data feed was working all along in the background.

This is the information about the problem we have received so far:

Saturday night we worked with Juniper Networks technical support to bring up a backup firewall node which was down. That was successful. Then, when Juniper repeatedly attempted to clear a more minor issue, a process was hung on both firewall nodes which caused CPU to skyrocket. Since markets reopened yesterday, the increasing traffic caused intermittent failovers because of the CPU issues.

The failovers would have been ok, but connectivity to Sierra Chart from the secondary node was not working (we are trying to figure out why). We worked with Level 3 support at Juniper to get the nodes rebooted and failed over but this took several hours.

The missing Intraday data has been restored. The CME markets were not affected. Although stocks and ICE and EUREX and some other exchanges were.

We are still working on patching the stock data.

To re-download the missing Intraday data, follow the instructions here:

The missing Intraday data has been restored. The CME markets were not affected.

I'd sure like to hear your explanation of that....

I'll grant you that the CME EXCHANGE was not affected....
but the transmission of the data, which is ALL we can see of "the MKT", was as bad as possible and totally useless....

Lets call a spade a spade here.....

Thanks for fixing it...

Certainly the transmission of the CME data to users was affected 2014-07-14. What we were saying was that the historical data for CME markets was not affected.

More technical info from Barchart:

As you know, we have spent a considerable time working with our firewall vendor over the last few days. As of yesterday afternoon, you will no longer lose connectivity in the event of a firewall failover from one node to another.
